Lasagna bake-off.
Here it is! Last weekend was the lasagne bake-off and street party. There’s something about a street-party…they always only seem happen in movies. Sadly the street I live on is about 5 kilometres long with only four houses worth of permanent inhabitants, so somehow I don’t think it would have the right vibe going. Burning.
For the last two days a big area of land near my house has been razed by a bush fire. It has been one of the most bizarre experiences I’ve lived through.
People have left work in a mad panic, having to go and save their homes, grab the last of their possessions before evacuation, or pick up their kids from the closing daycares out of a fear of road closures.
